Geoffrey Berliner: An avid collector of Petzval Lens, Geoffrey Berliner is the executive director of the Penumbra Foundation and the Center for Alternative Photography in New York City.

Chris Pollard: A London-based fashion photographer, Chris Pollard also works as a graphic designer for Ralph Lauren.

Matthieu Soudet: Matthieu Soudet is a young photographer from France who specializes in portraiture.

Issa Ng: A former art director and stylist, Issa Ng is an expert in fashion and commercial photography.

Takeshi Suga: Takeshi Suga is a photographer from Kobe, Japan who showcased mastery of the Petzval Lens with his eye-popping portraits.

@roxyvonschlotterstein @pearlgirl77 @poepel Ich finds ein bisschen komisch, dass ich ein 550 teures Objektiv brauche um ein 850 teures zu gewinnen. Aber hallo roxy da könnte ich ja mal rüber kommen. Allerdings habe ich glaube ich keine Kamera auf die ich das Objektiv machen könnte. Von daher.

@pearlgirl77 Usually I'm also not a fan extending comps, but this way we will give all analogue Petzval photographers hopefully the time they need to develop a few more rolls :)

@bloomchen ja.. is halt auch wegen dem thema.. und ich find das schon toll, daß ich dadurch, daß ich mir so nen teures objektiv gekauft hab, genau damit jetzt die möglichkeit habe noch was damit zu gewinnen ;) klar wäre es für andere auch schön ein petzval gewinnen zu können.

@pearlgirl77 Hehe, the rich getting richer, the poor getting poorer. Oder so. Wenn man viele Petzval Bilder für eine Ausstellung möchte, dann gibt's auch so Möglichkeiten wie Meldeliste für Leihobjektive - auch wenn die in dem Fall sehr teuer sind - und dann bekommt man eventuell plötzlich ziemlich viel input und profitiert davon vermutlich mehr, als wenn 5 user was dazu beitragen. Nicht zuletzt auch fürs Marketing. Aber ich hatte das schon mehrmals, das ich meinte ich würde bestimmte Dinge hier anders angehen. Ich brauche nicht alle 2 Wochen eine Petzval-E-Mail, weil entweder kaufe ich es mir gleich oder eben nicht. Da bringen auch gefühlt 60 E-Mails nichts. Anreize schaffen durch Erfahrung ist da eher das Thema. @poepel

@bloomchen da hast du natürlich recht, wenn man es testen kann, dann wird man mehr davon begeistert als von diesen ewigen emails.. die ich ja selbst schon nicht mehr sehen kann.. vor allem da viel digital ist :( und ich würde meines ja herleihen wenn ich nicht so weit weg wäre :(

@roxyvonschlotterstein @pearlgirl77 Das ist ja keine Kritik an Usern die eines haben. Das wäre ja absurd. Und klar können sich das nicht viele so aus dem Ärmel schütteln. Wie gesagt, ich würde da vermutlich strategischer vorgehen, wobei ich selbstverständlich kein Insiderwissen habe welche Möglichkeiten es gibt die Community beser einzubinden. Aber Verkaufszahlen und Uploads helfen vermutlich schon um sich nen Kopf zu machen wie man vorgehen kann. @zonderbar Geht das wirklich? Also jetzt nicht so wegen dem Wettbewerb, sondern einfach nur um es zu testen. Muss mal schauen ob es auf meine Canon passt.

@bloomchen habs auch nicht böse oder als kritik aufgefasst ;) wollte einfach nur klar machen, daß es für mich auch sehr happig war das zu kaufen.. aber ich konnte es auch vorher testen und habe mich dann einfach so verliebt, daß es mir das sparen und verkaufen wert war

@zonderbar Na dann! @poepel Ich hab ein bequemes Schlafsofa. Besucher sind nur verdonnert morgens schon mit den Kids Bücher lesen zu müssen, während ich mich nochmal umdrehe. Kannst aber schonmal üben für in 3 Jahren ;o)

@pearlgirl77 Klar, nur schade dass bis vorgestern in Berlin noch blauer Himmel und Sonne war und die Ansage war dann: Damit ist es jetzt vorbei! Und heute früh dachte ich schon Handschuhe auf dem Fahrrad wären eine gute Sache.

@pearlgirl77 Im Augenblick das gleiche hier: die Sonne kommt durch. Na ja, jetzt warten wir mal ab bis das Objektiv zum Test bereit liegt. Schön dass es die Möglichkeit gibt, leisten kann ich es mir definitiv nicht bzw. es gibt eben 100 andere Dinge, die wichtiger sind als ein Kameraobjektiv. Da bekomme ich den Kopf angerissen.

@zonderbar @pan_dre i have two beautiful pictures i can't upload in the competition, because i upload all my 10 pictures in the first deadline.. and the shooting was after the first deadline. that's why i'm a little bit sad that i don't know it before.. next time you should make Maximum submissions higher ?!?! so the people who are in the right time.. have the chance to submit newer pictures too... this is the one thing i want to say about this extended competition... ;)

Our Jury is particularly excited about this, therefore we want to make sure to choose the winner with the utmost care.
