Tipster of the Week: Custom Film Roll Labels for X-PRO
written by floriansimon on 2010-06-27 #gear #tutorialsDo you go to your local photo lab and ask politely for x-pro? Do you convince the supermarket staff to process the film using the wrong chemicals? Do you scratch the film canister so heavily that no one could possibly read "E-6"? My favorite way to get cross processed photos is sticking a self-made label onto the film roll.

written by wil6ka on 2013-07-15 #gearI know the tagline is cheesy, but it caught your attention – so it’s just perfect (evil laughter). And in my quest to squeeze every Kodak film into cameras and the best out of it on film, it certainly caught my attention too, when I first discovered, that not only Apple gets their inspiration from the zoo when branding their products. The Film that Will Not Exist Any More: ORWO Color NC19 (120, 64 iso)
written by fish300 on 2010-08-06 #gearNot so long ago I got 10 coils of film - the ORWO colour NC19 - on the internet auction. When I bought this film at once I knew that it would be necessary to show it on cross-process (C41) because the manufacturer of this film, and chemistry for it (ORWO 5168) was stopped approximately in the mid-nineties, but the price surprised me: 2$ for a film.

Tossa de Mar
written by wil6ka on 2008-12-15 #placesI like Spain. The people range from muy freaky to muy gentil and it is always a joy talking to them. Additionally they have rather my height than the ones from the Teutonian tribe, which makes it much easier to integrate for me, too. And the country has some exceptional beautiful spots offside the normal touristic routes - off the record. Quite a while ago I have been to Tossa de Mar, which lays a one and a half hour cardrive away from Barcelona.
