The Capuchin Catacombs in Palermo, Sicily
(Please note, this article is in another language)
If you go to Sicily you can't miss the capuchin catacombs of Palermo, something that confirms the ghoulish side of this city. A cemetery that contains 8000 mummies, lined upon walls, lying or standing, skeletons, and perfectly preserved bodies. It was active until 1920, when the last body was interred. And hooray! This is actually my first Lomo location in Sicily

Palermo is a historic city situated on the north west coast of Sicily. The city was founded 2,700 years ago by the Phoenicians and by this time, its name has changed several times as well as its rulers.

Formerly a medieval vigil tower built in the 13th century, it was turned into a belfry tower of the Church of San Nicolò all'Albergheria in the 16th century. It stands in the district of Albergheria and is surrounded by the open air market of Ballarò. It is now a very nice place to enjoy a beautiful view of the city of Palermo.

    Die Kapuzinergruft von Palermo, Sizilien
(Please note, this article is in another language)

(Please note, this article is in another language)

    Mercato di Ballarò
(Please note, this article is in another language)
