Pale memories from childhood

Actually the first photos where you can see me were taken with the same camera I use now. It’s 60 years old Smena 1. My grandpa bought it as engagement gift to my grandma. And only because of my really great grandfather I felt in love with idea of lomography.

He was and is only photographer in our family and shooted stunning pics (my mum was his best model).

Almost every summer we visited my another grandparents who were living in small town near Nizhy Novgorod. And it was amazing times. Sunny days, green grass and pure happiness of simplicity of life. We swam in Volga, herded goats and do nothing.

Sometimes we went to Black sea. To be burned up with south scorching sun, to lie on beaches like medusas and to visit my cousins.

Moreover I found this really strange and remarkable pic for me. After this sliding on inflatable “hill” I got a big scar which you can see on my elbow even now.

As you could see I was always with my blood brother. We had a lot of fun together for which we were punished by my mum and dad.

But time flies, we getting older and science does not stand still. After my mum bought digital camera my analog childhood was stopped. But anyway I have a lot of soulful pictures. Below the last photo of me taken with our toy film camera.

By the way, I guess every person from Russia the same ages with me have such kind of awkward photos from his childhood (especially with such a plastic car). I was too young and was afraid of old professional cameras which produce loud noise while shooting (now I love the sound though).
